Can u please advise whether the salary earned in Germany where tax at a rate of 40-45% is deducted in compulsory to declare in IT form as foreign income if he/she is a NRO for the time being? ( for the FY 18-19 stay in in india is arbout 217 days. Earnings of Indian companies and their Form 16 as well as AS26 are readily available to file local earned money income taxes. If the number of days of stay in India was more than 182 days during the year, you shall be considered as Resident of India and the global income shall be taxable in India. Hence the salary earned in Germany also has to be declared and taxes has to be paid accordingly. However taxes paid in Germany can be claimed as relief u/s 90 subject to certain conditions.
